Sofia Lagerkvist, Anna Lindgren and Charlotte von der Lancken had already made their name at the world’s design fairs as the Front design group before creating a new look for Höganäs Keramik in 2010. Their innovative approach – light-hearted yet uncompromisingly form-and function orientated – has added a new dimension to the characteristic restraint of Scandinavian design. The updated Höganäs mugs are inspired by childhood memories of Höganäs stoneware. Front’s work is represented in museums that include MoMa in New York, the Victoria & Albert in London and the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
